Find out what community transport is available to hire in our centre

“Bws Ni” is a modern low floor minibus specially adapted to provide easy access for all. It can carry up to sixteen passengers and all seat belts are fully adjustable for children or adults. With a reduction of seating, up to four wheelchair passengers can also be securely accommodated.

Our vehicle has “kneeling” suspension and access ramps to aid walk-in and wheelchair access. Large windows provide a pleasant airy atmosphere and wide views out while travelling.

We have a team of trained and qualified volunteer drivers who will be happy to transport your group on your chosen outing or you can arrange for training and qualification of your own driver.

The community bus is currently only available to groups and organisations who are a member of South Denbighshire Community Partnership for all membership enquiries and to see if you and your group qualifies to register for membership then please contact us or call in to the centre.

The community car club is constituted formally and the membership costs £50.  As a member you will be consulted on how the club is run and if you have any comments or suggestions please ensure you let SDCP know.

There is currently one car available, a Nissan LEAF, and only members are insured and allowed to drive it. The car belongs to the club and is registered with SDCP as the official keeper and insurance policyholder.

Insurance is fully comprehensive and covers social, domestic and pleasure use. The insurance does not cover the vehicle for "business use" (ie. use related to paid employment). The insurance requires drivers to be 25 or over. The car is covered by UK-wide breakdown recovery services.

The all-inclusive current change is 25p/mile + £1/hr for  the duration of use. This means the car costs the same per mile for everyone regardless of how many miles they drive.

If you require further information or would like to join our community car club please contact us on 01490 266004 or email

Telephone SDCP and book the vehicle for Doctors Appointments, Hair Appointments, Shopping Trips or simply to visit friends. The vehicle will pick you up at the door, take you where you want to go within the Edeyrnion Region and return at an agreed time to take you home. It is as easy as that!

Membership is just £15 per person per year and a small charge is charged for each journey taken.

*For a Membership Form, Price List and full Terms & Conditions please call into Canolfan Ni, Corwen to complete the paperwork.

Passenger's can also use their regular bus service on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays as usual.
